The calendar, lists, and chores every family already juggles — in one place, in real time.

The parts of family life that change by the hour. A shared calendar with a color per person, grocery and to-do lists that settle across devices in under half a second, and chores that balance themselves — so the whole household works from one plan.

Seconds · realtime, multi-device

One calendar, everyone's colors

Day, week, month, and agenda views. Recurring events use standard RRULE, expanded on read, so a weekly practice never bloats into a thousand rows. Overlapping events surface a quiet inline warning, not a modal.

Grocery lists that sort themselves

Toggling an item paints in the same frame as the tap, two people editing the same list settle in under half a second, and a delete racing an edit can't lose the row. Grocery lists go further: items group themselves by aisle so you shop the store once, saved staples re-add in a tap, and any line can carry a quantity or a reminder.

Chores that distribute fairly

Assign a chore fixed, round-robin, or to whoever's carried the lightest load this week. The Load Balance view frames the week as distribution — "balanced" or "uneven," never a leaderboard.

Allowance as a ledger

A child completes a paid chore and it lands in a ledger. No money moves through Sherpsy — a parent settles it in the real world and taps "paid."

If the family already agrees on the plan, the app should just keep it in sync.
